A New Perspective - Expressive Ram - 26 September 26

Fancy painting something bold, colourful and full of character?

Join me for a playful watercolour workshop where we will take a close-up sheep portrait and exaggerate it using wide-angle perspective. You will learn how to distort features such as the nose, eyes and horns to create a painting with real personality and impact.

We will also explore analogous colours — colours that sit close together on the colour wheel — and use them to create harmony, depth and mood in your painting. This is a great opportunity to loosen up, be brave with colour and try a more expressive approach to animal portraiture.

Bring your own reference photo or use my rare breed sheep photo.

A reference photo and materials list will be emailed out 2 weeks before the day.

The workshop will be held at Salt Village Hall, ST18 0BW near Stafford, from 10am to 4pm.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day.

Sweet and Savoury nibbles will be served.

Please bring a packed lunch.
